Probably best in ODI'S well known personality ,I still remember how he defeated England single highhandedly in 2003 in SA but not very successful in test cricket because of his weakness against short pitched bowling .He was asset to Australian cricket for all most ten years in ODI's where their dominance not questioned at all by any team.Wonderful team player & very useful all rounder too on top of that non controversial

@Victoria - I kind of disagree with your comment especially the part where you mention he was the best ODI batsman ''by millions of miles''. Bevan was surely a great batsman during that era however I wouldn't say he was the best. Bevan came late down the order and remained n.o. on many occasions which helped his average go up. I would say he was one of the best ODI finisher but not one of the best ODI batsman.

Michael Bevan did very poorly in the quiz. However, he was "by millions of miles" the best ODI batsman in the era of the 90s to early 2000s though. In fact,he's the only batsman from that era that has an ODI career average of over 50; and the only player of that era too, who has the necessary qualifications to be selected to the ODI All Time 11 team.
